Capoten belongs to the kind of drug called
angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors).
Capoten Indication
Capoten is used to reduce blood pressure, to tone down or relieve
the symptoms of congestive failure of the heart, increase the chance
of survival after a heart attack, and to avoid having a kidney
disease if you have diabetes. This drug could also be used in other

Capoten Warnings
There are some situations where in the use of Capoten is not

disease; liver disease; are under the salt-restricted diet or your
blood has a high level of potassium; are taking a salt substitute,

Capoten Intake Guidelines
Follow the exact directions or instructions that the doctor gave

lips, and hives; difficulty in breathing; having little or no urine;
irregular heartbeat or changes in your heartbeat; chest pain; severe
dizziness or fainting; and signs of infection like a sore throat or
a fever. If you experience any of these side effects, stop taking
Capoten, look for emergency medical attention or consult your doctor
as soon as possible.
Some of the less serious side effects are headache; mild
dizziness or lightheadedness; fatigue; dry, tickling cough; anxiety
or depression; numbness or tingling in the hands, feet, arms, or
legs; upset stomach; taste disturbances; or rash. You may still
continue using this drug but make sure to talk o your doctor if you
feel any of the said less serious side effects. There is a
possibility that some side effects that are not listed here may
occur. If you feel some unusual and bothersome side effects, consult
your doctor about it.
